Our Journalism class is an elective High School course offered at four levels, beginning through advanced.  Students learn and develop skills in newsgathering techniques, organization of information, and the basics of journalistic writing. 

A unique feature of TFA's Journalism program is that students produce the school's weekly newspaper, FALCON FYI.  Working to produce the newsletter not only significantly enhances writing skills, but also requires students learn about technologies appropriate for publishing and work in a team environment to meet deadlines. 

Each Friday, the FYI is delivered in a paper copy to each student to take home, and electronically to all parents, alumni, and friends.  FALCON FYI is the only weekly, completely student-run newsletter that we're aware of!
