TFA's Social Studies program follows the North Carolina-standard curriculum.

• Primary Social Studies focuses on concepts of geography, study skills and map skills.
• Elementary Social Studies classes include United States History to the Civil War and Regions.
• Students in middle school study World Cultures and North Carolina History.
• High School Social Studies courses include Economics, Legal and Political Systems (ELP), World History, and United States History.
